Energy Dispatcher, Sr. jobs in New Mexico

This position will be open to internal and external applicants and will close on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Pay for the Linespotter position is in the range of $42,400 to $53,000, and for the Senior Linespotter pay is in the range of $48,000 to $60,000 and is dependent upon skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Locates and marks underground facilities as requested to prevent damage by other excavating contractors and individuals.
• Maintains accurate records of work performed.
• Develops knowledge of other utility underground and field construction practices.
• Checks and repairs damaged coating on lines (as needed by location).
• Maintains locating equipment to ensure accurate operating condition.

Senior Level : Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities

Successful Candidate Must Have :

• A high school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Senior Linespotter requires 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and / or experience related to the discipline.
• Preference : utility experience.

Working Conditions :

Ability to walk, sit, stand, lift / move 30 lbs. Good vision and manual dexterity. Work performed in field environment, and may be required to worke overtime and / or on call, at various job sites, out of town, and / or remote locations.
