Energy Dispatch Director directs the real-time operations of energy dispatch centers. Responsible for ongoing transmission and distribution of energy. Being an Energy Dispatch Director aware of generation expectations and is responsible for minimizing risk and maximizing efficiency and economy. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Energy Dispatch Director demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Typically reports to a top management. The Energy Dispatch Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Opportunity

    As a Tax Director, you will be a key member of the global tax team and ensure the company's compliance with tax regulations, optimizing our tax strategies, and supporting our financial operations. This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional who can manage complex tax issues in a global manufacturing environment.

    Specific Responsibilities

    • Oversees and coordinates US (federal, state and international), Puerto Rico and Mexico tax compliance activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting in collaboration with local finance and accounting teams and external advisors. Oversees tax audits as they arise.
    • Prepares global consolidated tax provision in collaboration with local tax and finance teams.
    • Maintains up-to-date global transfer pricing policies across all business segments while partnering with internal teams to understand ongoing business initiatives and industry changes, monitoring financial results throughout the year, and implementing policies. Works with external advisors for transfer pricing documentation and ensures appropriate compliance processes are in place.
    • Develops and executes tax strategies that optimize the company’s tax position, including transfer pricing, credits and incentives, and tax-efficient structuring of business operations.
    • Collaborates with the finance team to analyze the tax implications of business decisions, investments, and transactions. Provides guidance on the financial impact of tax planning and compliance efforts.
    • Identifies potential tax risks and opportunities and develops strategies to mitigate risks while maximizing tax benefits.
    • Stays up-to-date with changes in local tax laws and regulations, evaluates their impact on the company, and develops tax policies and guidelines.
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including legal, accounting, and finance, to address tax issues and ensure alignment with the company’s financial and operational objectives.
    • Manage team of three US tax professionals (remote).

    Skills/Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required, with a preference towards candidates with a master’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with the CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designations.

    10 years of relevant tax and transfer pricing experience in a multinational company and/or public accounting firm.

    Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively to non-tax professionals.

    Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    The salary range for this position is $156,000 - $201,900. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
