Schedules and dispatches Maintenance and Environmental Services workers and work crews for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs rendered at all CAMC locations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes work orders based on severity and need. • Timely and accurate distribute maintenance and environmental services requests to personnel. • Determines personnel, equipment, and materials required according to the work orders. • Timely and accurately prepare departmental time records, various statistical reports, purchase orders, etc. • Orders supplies and equipment and issues them to personnel. • Monitors personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules. • Records and maintains files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other required information. • Confers with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Competency Statement Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist. • High School Diploma or GED (Required) Experience: 1-2 years related experience
