Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a motivated Assembler I. Under the general direction of a Team Leader, the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling wire cable assemblies and wire harnesses from customer schematic drawings and job orders using hand tools and small hand-held power tools; perform other related duties as required. Successful candidates will be able to: Read and comprehend simple written instructions, sentences, and paragraphs in work-related documents Use the English measuring system Learn Metric measuring system Able to follow directions verbal or in writing Complete repetitive work Work standing up or sitting down as needed Pass training for schematic drawings, diagrams, and job orders Pass training for hand tools, small hand-held power tools, and benchtop tools Visually distinguish all colors Lift up to 45 lbs. on a frequent and regular basis throughout the day IPC Certification a HUGE Plus!
