EHR Project Manager, Sr. jobs in New York
EHR Project Manager, Sr. is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, and implementation of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Oversees all aspects of projects. Being an EHR Project Manager, Sr. sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Additionally, EHR Project Manager, Sr. resolves any development issues or team member performance issues. Prepares project status reports. Requires Epic, Cerner, or similar product certification. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Requires EPIC Certification. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The EHR Project Manager, Sr. manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an EHR Project Manager, Sr. typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Duties
- Plan and design large scale infrastructure, land development and athletic field projects.
- Oversee and guide projects from initial concept through construction closeout.
- Mentor and lead project team and direct reports
- Perform and review detailed hydraulic calculations.
- Produce effective and high-quality project documents (including reports, drawings, and specifications)
- Provide bidding and construction administration services.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals.
- Communicate directly with and maintain client relationships.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
