Kantishna Roadhouse (KRH) is a full-service, backcountry lodge located 90 miles into the pristine natural wonder of Denali National Park in a remote area where few are lucky enough to travel. Employees at the Roadhouse will find adventure, tranquility, and an escape from every-day modern life. The season at Kantishna Roadhouse is approximately from June 4 - September 14 and KRH is seeking candidates available to stay the entire season. Room and board are provided free of charge for this position.
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the General Manager, the KRH Operations Manager is responsible for: managing the operations of Kantishna Roadhouse (KRH); oversight and compliance with the operational budget; workforce management to include seasonal hiring, work schedules, and payroll; facilities maintenance and seasonal projects; fleet management and scheduling; and all other seasonal departments and aspects of operational performance.

ENVIRONMENT: The season is approximately June 1 through mid-September at the Kantishna Roadhouse in Denali National Park. The individual will be working with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: During the summer season, the incumbent works under the intense pressures sometimes associated with providing quality guest services in remote locations. The incumbent will need to be able to quickly respond to changes in work demands and customer needs. Occasional light lifting, pushing, or pulling (25-50 lbs.) may be necessary.
