Document Control Supervisor ensures project document management responsibilities are accomplished in accordance with established operating procedures. A Document Management Supervisor provides project-based leadership and supervision for the accomplishment of project related document management functions. This person understands the importance of the document management lifecycle to the contractual and litigation aspect of the work and is able to provide direction and training to others in the area of documents management practices.
Position Summary: The Document Control Supervisor will have a good understanding of the project document management responsibilities, required software systems, and corporate operating procedures necessary to function in a fast-paced multitasking environment. Understanding of contractual reporting requirements, coordinating the initial setup of the Document Management area with the Home Office Project Controls Services Manager assistance as wells as coordinating all Close Out activities with the Home Office Project Controls Services Manager assistance is also required of this position. The Document Management Supervisor is also responsible for the accurate tracking and storage of all documents received and sent from the site. This position is typically project site based.
