Digital Production Manager jobs in Colorado

Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise is seeking a Production Artist/Digital Press Operator in our Boulder, Colorado location. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Illustrator, with verifiable professional experience in pre-press and graphics for print. We require great attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Production experience in digital printing and finishing is highly preferred and is a significant part of the position.

Minimum qualifications required for consideration:

• High level of proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; primarily InDesign and Illustrator.
• 2 years of recent professional experience in a print production environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to follow complex instructions and multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively work in a team environment.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Daily responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• General typesetting and page layout of customer projects from business cards to banners.
• Pre-flighting, preparing and printing of digital files, including:
• Checking resolution, dimensions, colors and overall file quality.

o Creating bleeds and crops, imposing art, and exporting as PDF files.

• Communicating courteously with clients to assist them with the creation of their jobs.
• Answering phones and assisting walk-in clients.
• Reviewing job specifications from work orders and ensuring that the finished job exceeds customer expectations.
• All digital print, finishing and bindery duties such as cutting, folding, stapling, etc.
• Equipment maintenance and inventory management.
• Keeping an organized digital file system, using our franchise process.
• General shop cleaning and organization.
