Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor jobs in Pennsylvania
Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of staff in a diagnostic imaging department such as nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography or ultrasound. Monitors the adherence to all diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services. Being a Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree, certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Local off work resources include Top 100 golf course(Penn National), Appalachian Trail, kayaking, jet skiing, snow skiing(Whitetail Resort), fishing, parachuting(Sky Dive Chambersburg), running clubs, bicycle club, blue ribbon middle school, Mercersburg Academy(superb!), non-stop flights to FL/SC from a very close local airport, Amish community markets, several colleges including a Penn State campus, superb local summer theatre at Totem Pole and other notable regional theaters, concerts at Hershey, a pleasurable non-urban environment ideal for young radiologists/families, and many other joys. Currently we have 3 happy and talented teleradiologists as part of our group. Fourth teleradiologist is needed due to upcoming retirements. position is available beginning now and over the next few months.
Board certification. PA license when starting to practice. PACS and malpractice insurance provided by employer. Excellent benefits package. Flexible Eastern time zone daytime hours. Weekday practice, daytime. Extra pay is available if interested in working weekends or holidays. No on-site presence. MQSA qualifications required. Fellowship training not required, but would be helpful.
