TITLE: ARRT / Radiology Tech

Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiology or a related field, verified by a KY State license.
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Possession of a Kentucky State Radiation Operators License.
Working Hours and Compensation:
This is a full-time position, with three schedule options available: (Monday-Thursday 9pm-6:30am), (Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am), or (Friday-Sunday 9am-9pm).
The salary range is between $60,000 to $81,000, with an additional $2.25 per hour shift differential. A comprehensive benefit package, including potential sign-on/relocation assistance, is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Review patient medical history and physician's orders. Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure comprehension and cooperation.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications when prescribed, within the scope of practice. Continuously monitor patient condition and respond accordingly to any changes.
- Prepare equipment and supplies. Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Resolve or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
- Employ safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoot, resolve, or report any equipment malfunctions as needed.
- Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results and identify any issues with image quality. Take necessary action to address image quality problems, including repositioning patients or repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
