Decision Support Project Specialist provides technical guidance and solutions to user groups working with decision support software and data tools. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates functionality and configuration options available for existing and new software. Being a Decision Support Project Specialist delivers user training and coaching to facilitate problem solving and decision making using hardware, software, datamarts, and data warehouses. Plans, coordinates and monitors projects to prepare, test, and deploy decision support tools, reports, dashboards and models to users. Additionally, Decision Support Project Specialist troubleshoots and resolves problems. May have specialized knowledge of a particular software product tool or module that is utilized. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Decision Support Project Specialist is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Materials Specialist - Kuparuk Field Support Services - Fleet Shop
JOB SUMMARY
This individual will be familiar with construction and maintenance material and tools. Coordinate and expedite flow of materials, between sections or departments, according to project and shipping schedules or project priorities, and compiles and maintains manual and or computerized records: Reviews project schedules and related information and confers with General Foreman to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material. Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates, according to job order priorities and material availability. Arranges in-stock transfer of materials to meet project schedules. Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material shortage list, material take offs. Arrange for repair and or return of damaged or incorrect material. This position requires organization and being able to manage conflicting priorities.
In addition to making sure the flow of materials is uninterrupted, the material coordinator must utilize procurement concepts in order to minimize costs. Strong administrative and computer skills required. Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Must be self-motivated and able to work with limited direction and supervision. Represent Clients’ Materials organization in meetings and matters pertaining to Capitol Projects.

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
