    The Senior Manager of Decision Support responsible for helping to converting data into information to support decision making for the Finance organization; The role reports to a Senior Director Decision Support while working with other cross functional teams across the Finance organization.

    The position requires a strong analytical and technical systems background, along with and a solid track record of successfully leading key financial processes in fast paced, matrix environments.

    Job Description

    This Finance Systems Senior Manager is responsible for managing, maintaining and optimizing Otsuka's financial systems (Anaplan, Essbase). This role provides guidance to other departments on financial reporting and best practices, and work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the financial systems are meeting the needs of the organization. This role must have a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial systems and processes, as well as a strong grasp of business and structure. Additional responsibilities include:

    • Lead the design and architecture of Anaplan solutions, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and industry best practices. This role requires a deep understanding of principles, expertise in Anaplan, and the ability to architect innovative solutions tailored to meet customer requirements
    • This role is critical in ensuring a successful deployment of new Anaplan models and must provide excellent service, make best practice recommendations,and identify opportunitiesforfuture projects
    • Review and optimize existing Anaplan implementations for improved performance and userexperience
    • Be able to configure, maintain and modify Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions and other model settings
    • Be able to develop, implement and maintain systems to ensure the financial health of Otsuka and to facilitate the efficient flow of financial information
    • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of financial software as well as strong technical skills to enable the Finance organization to deliver strategic insights
    • Serve as theapplication and softwaresubject matter expert
    • Translate financial planning and reporting requirements into technical solutions within our planning, reporting, and data warehouses systems
    • Partner with IT resources (Employees and MSP) to support timely and quality delivery of Finance requirements and deliverables

    Qualifications/ Required

    Knowledge/ Experience and Skills:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimumof3-5years of experience in implementing Performance Management Solutions using Anaplan
    • Work independently with limited supervision and feel comfortable working across a complex matrix environment
    • Experience integrating Anaplan with other systems and data sources
    • Theidealcandidate will haveadeep expertise in model building,astrong technical backgroundworking with live Anaplan models,and can deliver results for complex problems
    • Demonstrated analytical, prioritizationand problem-solvingskills

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Prior experience with Consolidation/Financial Reporting,Sales Performance Management, Management Reporting, or Enterprise Operational Planning
    • Prior experience withEssbase, SAP EPM, or similar technologies

    Educational Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics,Information Management and Technology, Engineering,or related fieldandequivalent experience
    • 8 years of experience with Finance systems and data. Pharmaceutical industry is a plus

    Minimum $127,923.00 - Maximum $182,930.00, plus incentive opportunity: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting salary for candidates hired to perform the work. Other elements may be used to determine actual salary such as the candidate's job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in role.
