Dean of Communications manages administrative functions of the college of communications. Develops college strategic initiatives and participates in university long-term planning and policy setting. Being a Dean of Communications leads college in fundraising and cultivating relationships with donors. Provides senior level administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Additionally, Dean of Communications requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Dean of Communications manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Dean of Communications typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Description
AM Communications has immediate openings for Ground Hands in our Charleston, WV location. The Ground Hand role is an entry-level position to learn a skilled trade in the telecommunications industry! The ideal candidate has working knowledge of hand tools, must be comfortable with heights, able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift 80 lbs. repeatedly and learn to safely climb with the use of pole climbing gaffs/spikes. Some travel is necessary.

Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:- Must have a valid driver’s license and meet AM Communications MVR qualifications
- Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to carry 80-100lbs, to include a 28’ extension ladder
- Must be able to work at heights of 28’ feet
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb and lift throughout work shift
