Database Marketing Analyst jobs in New Jersey
Database Marketing Analyst performs analysis of marketing databases to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of various marketing programs. Develops strategy for targeted marketing campaigns and is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation. Being a Database Marketing Analyst runs various reports to track retention, identify new customers, and pinpoint opportunities to increase sales to current customers. Ensures that the database is updated and maintained in a timely fashion. Additionally, Database Marketing Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Database Marketing Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Job Description
7-10 years in IT; 5-7 years in a DB2/Mainframe developer role, solutions architect role or product owner role
- Skillful in gathering and analyzing requirements impacting data-intensive applications/systems, and building solutions for fulfilling those requirements
- Critical thinker with superior written and oral communication skills as well as meeting facilitation skills
- Be able to write database queries and navigate database schemas in order to support analysis effort
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Datastage and Cobol Mainframe programmer with strong analytical and design skills.
- Has to be able to work independently and deliver high quality results.
- Will be responsible for application design, development, code reviews, writing and maintaining programming documentation, project coordination, and deployment support.
