Job purpose

Shredfast, Inc.’s full-time Accounts Payable Clerk will be based out of our facility in Airway Heights, WA. This position will work under the supervision of company ownership. The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a key role for the company by performing full cycle accounts payable.

Duties and responsibilities

• Full cycle accounts payable:
  • Enter and post vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
  • Process bi-weekly check runs.
  • Reconcile monthly vendor statements.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, vendor files and records including: Insurance certificates and W-9 forms.
  • Consolidation of packing slips, P.O.’s, and vendor invoices
• Maintain and reconcile company credit cards & receipts.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle registrations.
• Assist other accounting and support staff: A/R Clerk and Front Desk Receptionist
• Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Information

All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Shift Schedule:

Monday to Friday / 7:00am – 3:30pm (non-exempt) for Full-Time position

Requirements

• 3 years or more of accounting or work-related experience
• Associates or bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Manufacturing or construction background preferred.
• QuickBooks and Sage Business Works experience a plus
• Self-motivated; able to work alone and/or under supervision.
• Must work well with others.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
