WANTED: Hardy person to monitor wildlife harvest, ensure accurate wildlife measurements, data collection and reporting.

PAY: minimum $26.01/hr negotiable, annual raises, and $7,000 escalating successful completion bonus each year.

The position pays a minimum starting rate of $26.01/hour, (base starting rate of $21.44/hour plus $4.57/hour for Health & Welfare.) DataFlow/Alaska Inc. is a private sector Government Contractor (with less than 15 employees) and does not offer a traditional benefits package. (Indeed will not allow us to modify the auto population of using key words like "health benefits") In lieu of a traditional employee/employer contributed health plan, DataFlow offers a $4.57 Health & Welfare fringe benefit for every hour paid in addition to the base wage. For full time employees, this fringe benefit can total approximately $353-$375 per pay period or $706-$750 per month. Employees are encouraged to take this additional amount and purchase a private health plan that is in line with an individual employees medical needs. The Health & Welfare fringe benefit is not limited solely to the purchase of a private plan. Employees are free to choose how the additional amount is spent. Other benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, personal holiday, federal holidays, and flexible schedules.

DUTY STATION: 1 year deployment to St. Paul Island in the middle of the Bering Sea, in barracks-style quarters with covered meals

The ideal candidate:
- enjoys outdoor adventure and interested in protecting wildlife
- is comfortable around hunters carrying and using firearms
- Hardy disposition, chill personality
- skilled in customer service, diplomacy, rational negotiation and public relations speaking/announcements
- trainable in regulatory compliance and interpretation
- trainable in biological measurements and data collection
- trainable data quality standards, forms, spreadsheet usage
- flexible to optimize mission-effectiveness
- fluent in teleconference protocol, management meetings, memo writing and regular report-writing
- Will commit to at least a 1-year deployment (August 2024 through August 2025) renewable annually and qualify for a "mission successful" bonus for each whole year of service.
