Customer Segment Manager is responsible for all customer segment group research including extracting customer data and analyzing profiles to determine market segment requirements. Develops targeted product offerings or marketing campaigns based on customer profiles. Being a Customer Segment Manager provides information to sales and marketing teams to assist in the promotion of the organization's goods and/or services. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Customer Segment Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Customer Segment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Segment Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     General Statement of the Job

    The Segment Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing sales activities within a specific segment or territory. This role involves directly supervising Team Leaders and ensuring all sales standards and requirements are met. The Segment Manager reports to the Region Sales Manager.

     

    Duties of the Job

    1. Plan sales and POS objectives before each call to maximize Anheuser-Busch product sales and merchandising in all retail accounts, using Busch Selling Skills, Impact Selling, Structured Sales Process, and Merchandising Standards.
    2. Book POS items in each retail account.
    3. Post the pre-sale in Mobility at the time of the sale.
    4. Follow the Inventory Management process when ordering products.
    5. Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, maintaining respect and goodwill with customers and co-workers by exhibiting teamwork and leadership.
    6. Be accountable for all assigned monies, equipment, inventory, and other company assets.
    7. Be alert for opportunities for special orders, picnics, parties, and special occasions, and handle seasonal promotions as requested.
    8. Rotate products as needed and monitor accounts for code date freshness to ensure compliance with all A/B product quality assurance standards.
    9. Properly care for and maintain the cleanliness of PDC vehicles and equipment.
    10. Use good driving habits while operating the vehicle and obey traffic laws.
    11. Coordinate, schedule, and supervise the activities of the sales team.
    12. Ensure all training of sales team members is up to date.
    13. Conduct training in sales departmental meetings.
    14. Manage department budget and headcount.
    15. Resolve sales issues involving retailers.
    16. Perform all other duties as assigned and directed by Management.

    Qualifications


    General Eligibility Requirements of the Job

    1. Work experience requirement: Previous industry-related experience in sales and sales management.
    2. Education requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
    3. Training or special skills requirement: None.
    4. Age requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
    5. License(s)/certification(s) required: Class D Driver's License.
    6. Driving record requirement: No more than 2 moving violations within three years. No DWI convictions within the past 7 years.
    7. Physical requirement: Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
