The Office of Special Investigations is looking for two candidates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to safeguarding the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. The ideal candidates for this position possess a solid understanding of Washington State statutes, interviewing techniques, research skills, and are effective communicators.
The mission of the Office of Special Investigations is to protect the integrity of the Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund by preventing and detecting financial losses due to fraud or malfeasance. This position will perform basic investigations to determine whether fraud exists, which includes performing claims adjudication and data collection efforts. You will also have the support of higher-level Investigators for more complex claims.

Required:
One-year experience as a Claims Representative OR
One year of experience as an investigator with a criminal justice government agency or private organization, or other directly allied field.
Note: Two years of related college-level coursework may be substituted for one year of experience
