Credit and Collections Supervisor is responsible for the activities and operations in the credit and collections department. Oversees the processing and verification of applications for credit and the solicitation for payment on overdue accounts. Being a Credit and Collections Supervisor investigates credit issues and suggests payment options to be approved. Ensures collectors follow all protocols, laws and regulations to collect payments efficiently. Additionally, Credit and Collections Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Credit and Collections Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Job Description
CBA is a locally owned family business corporation since 1948.
- Daily call center duties which may include assisting customers with their account status, assisting with status updates, and other duties as assigned.
- Follow customer account on the phone and respond to any questions or requests for assistance.
- Follow all Bainbridge, GA state and local laws regarding phone usage and customer interactions.
- Follow all Bainbridge, GA company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while performing duties at the customer site:
- Perform a variety of tasks requiring independent problem solving, problem solving, documentation, communication, organization, and prioritization.
- Ability to maintain a high level of customer service for all contacts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and colleagues.
- Proficient in using computers/office software including but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
- Must be eligible to work in Bainbridge, GA without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
- Must possess strong verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Must possess good judgement and be able to make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
