This position is not remote and is not an underwriter position.
This position analyzes the credit union's loan portfolio performance via specialized credit analysis software and provides reports and recommendations for portfolio changes to management. Additionally, the position develops analysis and reporting related to loan delinquencies, charge-offs, non-accruals, and ensures the CECL (Current Expected Credit Losses) calculations accurately reflect risk within the CU's loan portfolios.
Responsibilities
Monitors loan delinquencies, non-accruals, and charge-offs for each loan portfolio and provides reporting on trends and other portfolio changes.
Analyzes loan portfolio performance via specialized credit analysis software and provides reports and recommendations for portfolio changes.
Manages the CECL process for both retail and commercial loans, ensuring data and other information is accurately utilized within the systems while arriving at loan loss data.
Builds loan pricing models to support loan profitability while ensuring members receive value for their membership.
Reviews retail loan processes to ensure the collection of required data for the tracking and management of the retail loan portfolio performance.
Makes recommendations to the underwriting policies to meet overall loan and credit related targets.
Qualifications
Three to Five years experience in credit analysis, retail loan underwriting, and loan portfolio management.
