Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Creative Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Our retail client is looking for a Creative Project Manager with 2 years' expeirence to jump in and support two other Project Managers and a Production Manager with workflow and admin. Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the project management team to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
* Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and escalate any issues as necessary.
* Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement.
* Oversee product photography projects, including coordinating photo shoots, managing schedules, and ensuring high-quality images are delivered on time.
* Manage web maintenance tasks, including updating content, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with developers for enhancements and fixes.
Requirements:
* Availability between 9-5 EST Monday to Friday for meetings is essential.
* Occasional on-site work is not required, though offers additional learning and growth opportunities.
* Minimum commitment of at least 20 hours per week, with potential for additional hours during onboarding and training.
* Must provide own computer, even if working on-site.
* Previous experience working with retail brands is required.
* Proficiency with project management tools such as Trello, Microsoft Teams, and SAP is highly recommended.
