The Corrosion and Fouling Engineer takes ownership of all refinery process and water corrosion control and has an in depth understanding of refining operations and how unit operations affect corrosion and fouling. Develops Corrosion Control Documents and Integrity Operating Windows for the refinery operations. Advises the refinery staff about potential effects of changes in feedstocks or operating conditions. Oversees work of chemical corrosion control vendors. Maintains contact with other our and industry corrosion engineers to develop corrosion engineering expertise, and to identify and develop solutions to corrosion problems.
