Copywriter jobs in Maryland

We are looking for a Copywriter who will work closely with our Copywriting, Digital Marketing, and Creative teams in the creation of engaging and relevant content for our clients. In order to succeed in this role, you must have an academic or professional background in Marketing, past copywriting samples, and a flair for words. Responsibilities:

• Writes articles, collateral, online copy, and other related informative and promotional materials that meet objectives
• Create promotional content for social media networks
• Writing relevant content for various print and digital collateral (flyers, brochures, advertisements, email newsletters, etc.)
• Coordinating with designers for complementing text with graphics, charts, and images, as needed
• Participate in drafting content for email marketing campaigns
• Work alongside a digital marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are met within all written content
• Check all copy for spelling and grammatical errors
• Review copy with the Creative Director and/or Account Management to ensure adherence to strategic focus and tone
• Review the quality of the final copy before release to the client

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing, or other relevant fields
• Ability to write in an informative and creative way
• Familiarity with social media marketing language
• Proficiency in English along with excellent writing and editing skills
• Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience as a Junior Copywriter
• Copywriting samples, preferably a portfolio comprised of published articles
• A keen eye for details
• An analytical mind with a problem-solving attitude
• Loves camaraderie and thrives in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
