Consumer Lending Branch Auditor reviews the consumer loan materials and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company guidelines and policies as well as state and/or federal statutes within one branch. Makes recommendation to improve procedures and other improper documentations accordingly. Being a Consumer Lending Branch Auditor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Consumer Lending Branch Auditor typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Summary:
The main focus of this position is to support the loan officer and add efficiencies to the lending function of Astra Bank, both locally and bank wide. This position will assist lending staff in management of loan documentation, credit transactions, and filing systems. The position typically requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week Monday – Friday. Some Saturday work may be required.
Key Results Areas:- Maintain credit files through requesting, organizing and scanning of loan documentation and supporting financial information.
- Perform all tasks and maintain internal/external customer dealings in manner that is reflective of Astra Banks Core Values.
- Coordinate documentation requests and submission for internal and external departments/vendors.
- Process loan documentation requests/transactions.
- Provide additional review/oversight to loan document/files accuracy, as to ensure all documentation and requests adhere to Astra Bank Loan Policy and regulations.
Excellent internal and external customer relations skills, good verbal and written communication, good computer and word processing skills, organizes tasks and responsibilities, works in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to change.
Requirements:- High School diploma or GED; Associate Degree or college preferred.
