Acts as an advisor to the configuration analysis team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Configuration Analysis Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Configuration Analysis Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Configuration Analysis Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The National Security Analysis Department (NSAD) is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Group Supervisor for the Operations and Program Analysis Group (JOP). As an Assistant Group Supervisor, you will work with the Group Supervisor in managing the group, with a focus on staff development, hiring, staffing, and guiding the strategy of the group.
JOP’s focus is on understanding the impact of technology on National Security issues, and involves using a variety of techniques including Modeling and Simulation, Design of Experiments, Generative AI (LLMs, foundational models, etc.), among others.
