Computer Operations Shift Supervisor supervises and monitors the computer operations of one or more shifts. Leads the operating and monitoring of computer equipment and delegates workflow as necessary. Being a Computer Operations Shift Supervisor uses established procedures to perform routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and its peripherals. Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on the monitor of the terminal to identify faulty output or machine stoppage. Additionally, Computer Operations Shift Supervisor may require an associate degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Warehouse supervisor for all activities and controls in the warehouse. Provide direction and leadership for other warehouse personnel. Responsible for leading warehouse staff and assisting warehouse team in the areas of receiving and inventory control. Pulls production material according to pick list and enters information into computer system. Participates in preparing warehouse for physical inventory. Participates in physical count of inventory according to procedures. Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts. Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse(s).Processes and stocks all releases. Pulls orders according to established procedures. Identifies problem orders and interfaces with Buyer/Planner for resolution. Prepares and organizes orders for shipment according to vendor routing instructions.
