Computer Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient and effective management of an organization's computer operations. Implements department policies and procedures to effectively operate and maintain computer systems and peripherals. Being a Computer Operations Manager manages the operation of information system equipment including scheduling workflow, maintenance, and capacity plans. Continuously monitors the efficacy of computer operations, backup processes, system monitors, and server availability to ensure operation goals are met. Additionally, Computer Operations Manager researches and evaluates potential equipment upgrades to improve the capabilities of computer operations. Ensures computer operations activities meet pre-established production targets and maintain operating budgets. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Computer Operations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Computer Operations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Event Coordinator / Dining Room Manager

  • Job Details (include but not limited to):

    • Event Management:
    • Book events and manage event calendars.
    • Update the website regularly with upcoming events open to the public.
    • Record and maintain detailed event information using Event Pro management software.
    • Customer Interaction:
    • Schedule meetings with clients to tailor events to their preferences and vision.
    • Communicate event details promptly and effectively to staff and managers.
    • Ensure seamless execution of events, addressing any issues that may arise.
    • Customer Relations:
    • Follow up with client’s post-event to gather constructive feedback and ensure satisfaction.
    • Handle invoicing and send thank-you note promptly within 3 days of event completion.
    • Staff Management:
    • Create and manage the dining room staff schedule 2-3 weeks in advance.
    • Provide coverage for dining room shifts as needed.
    • Recruit, train, and develop dining room staff to enhance customer experiences and foster a cohesive team environment.
    • Marketing, Promotion and Team Support:
    • Attend weekly management team meetings to discuss operations, strategies, and upcoming events.
    • Collaborate with marketing minds to promote events through various channels, such as social media, email campaigns, and local advertising.
    • Develop promotional materials and strategies to attract events and boost event attendance.
    • Assist bartenders and servers when needed
    • Develop and update catering contracts, menus, and promotional materials.

    § Typical Hours: 11am-7pm Mon-Fri (may vary based on event schedule, typically includes Tues-Sat during peak seasons)
