Competitive Pricing Analyst provides analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, and competitor activity to develop optimal pricing for geographies and market segments aligned with products and sales strategy. Conducts market research, assesses data, and develops insights into market trends and pricing strategies. Being a Competitive Pricing Analyst maintains a database of historical pricing data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and guide pricing decisions. Coordinates tools, reports, and communications for accurate pricing information responsive to market changes. Additionally, Competitive Pricing Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree in business or related discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Competitive Pricing Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Position Overview
Are you detail-focused and driven? We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to support our Business Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating proposal processes, including pricing efforts, market research, and strategic analysis to support final proposals.
Key Requirements- Bachelor's degree in finance, general business, or related field
- Ability to think strategically to enhance business development outcomes
- Highly motivated, able to meet tight deadlines, prioritize effectively, and work well under pressure
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
- Knowledge of federal government business development processes preferred
To excel in this role, you must have superior time management and multitasking skills, possess excellent communication skills, and be willing to work flexible hours as needed.
Responsibilities- Track and review incoming Business Development opportunities
- Analyze pricing data from industry standards and competitor research
- Conduct salary research utilizing various resources
- Create and update internal spreadsheets for pricing reports
- Coordinate with Operations to obtain pricing knowledge
- Support post-award process and tasks
- Assist Business Development team in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Database Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Time Management
- Critical/Strategic Thinking
- Collaboration and Organizational Skills
