Compensation and Benefits Supervisor leads a team in developing, implementing, communicating, and administering compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Supervises daily compensation and benefit operations including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis, planning for health and welfare, retirement, and work life benefits. Being a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor coordinates with outsourced providers. May provide customer support to managers and staff with compensation or benefits questions. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor

    As a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor at CCMSI, you will be responsible for the investigation, adjustment, and supervision of assigned claims. This position serves as advanced training for consideration for a management role. Your contributions are vital in upholding the quality of claim services, ensuring client satisfaction, and compliance with our Corporate Claim Standards.

    Responsibilities

    What You'll Do:

     

    • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust assigned claims in accordance with established claim handling standards and laws.
    • Oversee reserves for designated claims within authority levels.
    • Negotiate disputed bills or invoices for resolution.
    • Authorize and make claim payments in accordance with industry standards.
    • Assist in selecting, referring, and supervising designated claim files sent to outside vendors.
    • Handle litigated and complex claims directly.
    • Provide education, training, and assistance to develop claim staff.
    • Maintain a personal diary on the claim system.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • 10 years of claim experience.
    • Three years of supervisory experience (preferred).

    Computer Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    • Adjuster's license is preferred
    • AIC, CPCU, or ARM preferred.
