Community Relations Specialist
Marlborough, MA
9-12 month contract , potential to extend
Working Hours: 30-35 hours a week.
Hybrid (2 days in the office and 3 days remote)
Responsibility:- Completes Community Relations Field & DC grant funding requests as well as the Foundation response to all submitted Brand funding inquiries
- Supports the execution of other grant programs as needed (i.e. Associate Nominated Grants program and Opportunistic grants program)
- Reviews and vets nonprofit organizations' grant applications to validate eligibility for funding under Client's Foundation Guidelines
- Serves as a resource for database questions from external partners, including nonprofit grantees and applicants, and is the point of contact for external troubleshooting
- Supports the Brand Team in tracking and monitoring grant budgets
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to navigate systems and maintain database/reporting
- Excellent attention to detail with an ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across several Teams and projects
- Self-reliant and self-motived, with the ability to work autonomously to achieve results
- Great teammate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with database management and/or data analytics
- Experience working in highly collaborative setting with multiple levels of stakeholders
- Ability to be flexible and navigate multiple processes and work streams at the same time
- Strong customer relations skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the nonprofit sector
- Experience with GIFTS, IGam preferred
