Community Organizer Associate
The community organizer associate role is an ideal fit for someone passionate about the intersection of public education, policy, and politics looking to continue their career in issue-based advocacy. This role will work directly with TEN's leadership team and support the organization’s advocacy strategy. In particular they will prioritize parent leader identification and development, administrating advocacy campaigns in line with the organization’s policy goals.
The Community Organizer Associate will also serve an important role with TEN’s affiliated 501(c)(4) organization, TEN Collective Impact. This will include mobilizing advocates to contact elected officials and educating advocates about important elections.
The position requires a good communicator who is hard-working and passionate about TEN’s cause. It requires someone who is good at taking initiative to complete a project once they have been given instructions. It presents an excellent opportunity for a person to meet important people involved in advocacy in Colorado and nationally and grow in the profession.
