Community Health Alliance is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as Director of Nursing at our Medical offices in Hamilton and Middletown, Ohio. The Director of Nursing is responsible for providing leadership and guidance in directing clinical services that meet accreditation, safety and quality standards. The Director of Nursing's scope of responsibilities involves 3 outpatient offices including an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) and medical services that are integrated into residential treatment services. This position will be responsible for expansion of existing clinic services. The Director of Nursing must be able to lead and motivate team members and effectively interact with a variety of healthcare professionals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leads medical team consisting of medical assistants, LPNs, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
- Collaborates with executive leadership on development of medical services.
- Creates nursing schedules for clinic locations.
- Acts as a liaison with pharmacy and lab partners.
- Manages medication handling and storage and medical supply inventory.
- Provides education and training to staff.
- Triages and manages patient flow in clinics to ensure patient needs are met.
- Facilitates and participates in care coordination with the treatment team.
- Complete nursing tasks as directed by a medical provider.
- Administers medications to patients when appropriate and maintains accurate records.
- Participates as part of an interdisciplinary team coordinating patient care.
- Educates patients on monitoring and managing symptoms, medication and health conditions.
- Collects blood, urine and other specimens as needed for laboratory testing.
- Administers injections, TB testing, vaccinations as ordered by medical provider.
- Completes health and symptomology screenings to aid in patient care.
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments as needed.
- Coordinates with other medical facilities to obtain medical records for treatment of patients.
- Implements appropriate nursing interventions and actions according to established plan of care within scope of practice.
- Administer basic first aid, when necessary.
- Accurately and timely documents patient information and interventions in the electronic health record.
Qualifications:
- Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 2 years related experience in supervisory role.
- OTP experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team.
- Ability to properly respond, prioritize and communicate competing demands
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and documentation.
