Tower Loan - Bankruptcy File Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bankruptcy File Clerk position is responsible for managing all bankruptcy files. This position is fast paced and a high-volume environment with sensitivity to deadlines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Manage Bankruptcy reports
• Conduct searches for relevant documents and print them to create files
• Email documents to supervisor and branches
• Draft Notice of Appearance documents
• Scan files and answer phones
• Assist others in various areas when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exemplary organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient multitasking abilities.
• Basic proficiency in mathematics.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Windows and Outlook.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Stand, walk and/or sit for eight (8) hours a day.
• Talk and/or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work primarily in an office setting

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

• < 5%

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Days of the week: Monday – Friday
• Start and End Time: 8:30 AM – 5:30 AM
