The selected candidate will be tasked with overseeing daily activities related to commercial credit underwriting and ensuring all credit decisions align with the company's risk management policies and procedures. This role also involves strategic planning and decision making, and requires close collaboration with other departments such as account management and operations.Responsibilities:• Oversee the daily activities of commercial credit underwriters who assess and decision commercial credit applications using thorough analysis of financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance• Ensure that all credit assessments and approvals are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and quality standards• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to manage and mitigate credit risk• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in credit analysis and decision-making• Work closely with other departments such as account management and operations to align credit strategies with business objectives• Promote maintenance of strong relationships with clients, providing excellent service and support throughout the credit application process• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently• Maintain accurate customer credit records.
