The Coil Blaster Operator is responsible for all the functions as listed below. Operation of this area must
be understood in total with the focus of utilizing the equipment to meet all the quality and productivity
goals as outline in our quality system. All work instructions must be followed as outlined.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- General overview of the LP
- General safety
- Lock out tag out
- ISO
- AS-400
- Crane training
- Forklift training
- Time sheets
- Tine off request
- Accident/incident reports
- Product ID and parking
- Recycle program
- Serious misconduct policy
- LP objectives
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent (GED)
- Mobility in plant requires standing, standing/walking, and walking.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly
- The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Visual ability with or without correction.
- Communication abilities.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
- Follow Company safety rules.
- Report the absence of or defect in any protective equipment or clothing to the Supervisor or
- Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or worn:
- Safety shoes
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Report to the Safety Coordinator, Group Lead or Supervisor any contravention of the
- Must follow all Lock out Tag out (LOTO) guidelines for designated machines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
- Clean, well ventilated and safe work areas.
