Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to serve as an Interim Director of Nursing Services. The Nurse Director will oversee the nursing staff and operations at a 21-bed Critical Access Hospital. As a working manager, the Nurse Director will actively engage in patient care while providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management for nursing personnel on all shifts.
• Collaborate with other department heads to optimize patient care outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting staff development and professional growth.
• Actively participate in patient care delivery, maintaining a hands-on approach to nursing practice.

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in acute care nursing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Ability to effectively manage resources and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
