Clinical Outcomes Analyst collects clinical outcomes data and performs analysis in support of clinical process improvement initiatives. Gathers data on performance metrics to facilitate the review of program effectiveness. Being a Clinical Outcomes Analyst evaluates and summarizes patient data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with clinical guidelines and organizational standards. Identifies areas for improvement and communicates findings to leadership. Additionally, Clinical Outcomes Analyst requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare related area. May require a Registered Nurse (RN) license. Typically reports to a manager. The Clinical Outcomes Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Education: Current Kansas LPN Licensed required, RN Preferred.
Experience: Working experience should include a minimum of three (3) years within a hospital clinical environment. This individual must be knowledgeable in computers and be able to understand and work with software vendors as well as internal users. Previous experience implementing Meditech’s Advanced Clinical modules is required.
Special Qualification: Must be able to translate technical terminology into understandable terms for use in working with employees, vendors, etc. Must be able to withstand the stressful situations both physically and emotionally associated with the position. Must have communication skills necessary to provide appropriate information as needed. Must be able to respond rapidly to an emergency.
