Clinical Educator jobs in Connecticut
Clinical Educator is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for clinical health workers. Identifies professional development needs, facilitates training, and conducts in-service sessions. Being a Clinical Educator conducts research to stay current with health care regulations and best practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Clinical Educator requires certification as an instructor for both ACLS and BLS. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Clinical Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Nurse Educator will join an established Professional Development team and provide education resources to a fast-paced 14-bed critical care department that cares for more than 3,000 patients annually. The Nurse Educator will oversee monthly orientation, provide simulation and education trainings, conduct employee evaluations and assessments, develop education programs, and collaborate with department Management and other service line Educators to further promote professional growth and excellence.
Requirements Include- Master’s degree in Nursing MSN
- Current Registered Nursing licensure in state of Connecticut
- 3-5 years of experience in Nursing Education or Professional Development
- Extensive clinical experience in Critical Care
