    Position Overview

    Pantheon is seeking a Project Manager with a background guiding and maintaining government IT/software projects. A successful candidate will have a history of proven management of small to mid-sized government consulting projects. The candidate should have impeccable attention to detail and extensive knowledge of government deliverables, budgets, customer expectation management, and project schedules. A successful candidate will also be able to communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively with government clients.


    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative and operational management of assigned projects or tasks.
    • Collaborate with project manager and stakeholders to establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Build and execute project plans, schedules, and deliverable timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and milestones.
    • Lead the project wide communications to improve transparency and external communications such as social media posts.
    • Manage project documentation, including project management plans, status reports, risk registers, and meeting minutes.
    • Coordinate and facilitate internal, external, and Government meetings with clear agendas and keep the meetings on track.
    • Track the onboarding of new team members, providing company and project specific system access and Common Access Card (CAC) enrollment.
    • Provide effective risk management through identification, escalation, mitigation, and effective resolution of issues.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for Government and both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proactively identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and drive improvements to maximize operational efficiency.
    • Perform other tasks deemed appropriate for this role as assigned.

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • 5 years professional experience with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, hardworking team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including experience meeting with and presenting information to senior leadership and Government.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Experience with Project Management tools, such as Jira, Trello, and Microsoft Project
    • Strong time management to ensure meetings are done efficiently and within time box.
    • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and Government.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Experience in Government IT industries, Navy a plus
    • Experience with the Agile software development methodology
    • Experience in technical writing, internal communications, and marketing
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification

    Clearance Requirements

    U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
