    The company is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager.

    Responsibilities

    Position Summary/ Primary Purpose

     

    Reporting to the PMO Manager, the role of a Senior Project Manager is ensuring the effective development and delivery of Airport Baggage Handling systems to our customers. You will direct a cross functional team of engineers, sourcing, manufacturing and support staff, as well as subcontractors to deliver solutions to some of the world's largest airports.

     

    Major Areas of Responsibility:

    •  Deliver projects on schedule.
    • Maintain or improve projects planned budgets.
    • Exceed customer expectations and satisfaction.
    • Develop and maintain project parameters and review all material, prior to submitting to customers
    • Establish a project team and conduct project review meetings, regularly.
    • Maintain and support communication with customer and sales team.
    • Maintain and support communications with project team, internal and external(written and oral).
    • Establish a detailed project schedule, establish priorities, and identify lead times and define the critical path.
    • Establish and maintain project costing and invoicing plan to maintain cash flow.
    • Monitor internal and external teams to be sure that downstream activities are supported, timely and on budget
    • Follow and maintain an effective change management system to assure project changes are accounted for, properly documented and current with invoicing.
    • Review all request letters and advise Sales of its disposition.
    • Deliver regular project status to business stakeholders
    • Initiate job closeout, when completed.
    • Travel and overtime as business needs dictate, travel may be frequent and visits to customer sites and walking project sites are expected.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.
    • Other duties as assigned. 

    Qualifications

    Desired Skills and Experience

    •  5 Years’ experience in Airport Baggage Handling Project Management experience.
    • Warehouse & Distribution experience strongly preferred.
    • Engineering or project management degree preferred.
    • Knowledge of computer scheduling, preferably PRIMAVERA P6.
    • Project Management software experience with ProCore
    • Excellent communication skills – This position will interact with all levels within the company and with customers.

     

    Demonstrated Physical Abilities as Follows:

     

    Remain stationary for 50% of the time; move/traverse throughout the office to access file cabinets and office equipment; operate a computer and other productivity machinery; inspect documents; communicate with others through talking/hearing; read/identify/assess forms and correspondence. Capable of maneuvering through an industrial conveyor system requiring climbing access ladders, negotiating screen guards and lifting and/or carrying objects up to 40 lbs.
