Sumer Innovations is a new building design startup that operates on an online business platform and utilizes the latest advancement in building design technologies to provide superior design services to its clients. Sumer Innovations' ultimate purpose is to create sustainable construction industry through technological advancement.

We are creating an expanding network of independent engineers, architects, and scientists, and we are looking for an experienced Architect to join our network and provide designs for our clients.

The way we operate is different than the traditional business model:

(1) We will market your top creative work locally and nationally. When a client is interested in your work, you will be connected with them directly in our online portal. You can also request support from top freelancers and other experts who we partner from all across the world. So you will not be burned out or working by yourself.

(2) You will be meeting prospective clients remotely and locally, gathering details to prepare drawings, specifications, sketches, construction documents, setting up budgets, proposals, and timelines. Most business operations are programmed in the portal to increase work productivity and efficiency.

We are mainly looking for candidates who are passionate, innovative, entrepreneurial-spirited, and business-oriented. You will be an Independent Contractor working with us on a variety of exciting projects that fit your skills and qualifications.

What you’ll do:

• Meet prospective clients locally and remotely to discuss their project needs
• Develop and provide drawings to existing and potential clients
• Ensure planning and design meet the client's requirements
• Prepare detailed drawings showing the appearance and interior structure
• Direct staff in the development of project drawings
• Visit worksites to ensure work is being done according to architectural plans

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Small and medium scale, multi-use project experience is required
• Revit is highly preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $100.00 per hour
