Being a Childbirth Educator reviews class material and recommends changes based on educational standards. May assist in developing new content. Additionally, Childbirth Educator may require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Childbirth Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Minimum Qualifications
1. Current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

4. Knowledge of principles of adult education and current standards of perinatal care.
