    THE ROLE 

    As the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the future of Visions’ success by driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and spearheading strategic initiatives to uphold our reputation as a trusted industry leader. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service.  This role demands a proactive leader capable of navigating the challenges of a dynamic landscape while maintaining the highest standards of performance and collaboration.

    RESPONSIBILITIES


    Operational Strategy:

     

    •   Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies aligned with Vision Management’s overall objectives and growth targets.

     

    •   Continuously evaluate and refine operational processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.

     

    •   Identify opportunities for innovation and technological advancement to streamline operations and improve employee and customer experiences.

     

    •   Facilitate and lead stakeholder calls/meetings and provider sign offs on critical milestones and activities.

     

    •   Lead a diverse team of executive staff, project managers and coordinators.

     

    •   Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, diversity and inclusion.

     

    Organization Development:

     

    •   Assess organizational strengths and areas for development

     

    •   Collaborate with CEO to set goals and objectives for organization development

     

    •   Develop and ensure effective execution of organization development plans

     

    •   Engage relevant team members and stakeholders in organization development initiatives

     

    Team Leadership and Development:

     

    •   Provide strong leadership and guidance to the teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

     

    •   Recruit, train, and mentor talented professionals to build a high-performing and motivated operations team.
    •   Establish clear performance metrics and goals for team members, conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for professional development.


    Project Management:

     

    •   Establish and maintain robust systems, processes, and procedures to streamline current processes, enhancing customer experiences and maximizing resource utilization.

     

    •   Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers and other stakeholders to optimize networks and enhance service capabilities.

     

    •   Drive innovation and technology adoption to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.

     


    Customer Experience:

     

    •   Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the organization, focusing on delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

     

    •   Implement measures to monitor and enhance customer satisfaction, gathering feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

     

    •   Resolve escalated customer issues and concerns promptly, demonstrating a commitment to resolving challenges and maintaining positive relationships.

     

    •   Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze operational metrics, and generate regular reports to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.


    Financial Management:

     

    •   Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage operating budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.

     

    •   Identify areas for process improvement, developing and implementing new and improved processes. 

     

    •   Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth, implementing initiatives to improve profitability and maximize shareholder value.

     

    •   Monitor key financial indicators proactively addressing any variances or areas of concern.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    •   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
    •   12 year’s experience and a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles within the logistics, transportation, or moving industry.

     

    •   Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions.

     

    •   Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.

     

    •   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

     

    •   Sound financial acumen and experience managing budgets, financial analysis, and performance metrics.

     

    •   In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation management, asset management, warehousing, and inventory control.

     

    •   Commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

     

    COMPENSATION

    Visions Management offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $225,000 - $275,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
