    Channel Director - Walmart

    Position Type: Sales 

     

    Overview: 

    The Channel Leader for the Mass Channel and Walmart will be responsible for the successful achievement of on-going Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing and Shelving objectives established each fiscal year for Walmart and other assigned accounts both in store and online. This position involves direct sales responsibility for specific Camco product lines including responsibility for delivering top line and bottom-line results, within assigned budgets, and achieving key merchandizing objectives. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Building or utilizing established relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Walmart and other assigned accounts, including regular meetings, state of the business and product line reviews.
    • Data-Driven Presentations: Create brand-specific, data-driven presentations to support business growth.
    • Strategic Planning: Understand Walmart’s strategic challenges and prioritize opportunities critical to the customer/account.
    • Revenue Management: Manage revenue, trade budgets, and promotional activities.
    • Forecasting: Develop and manage financial and demand forecasts with customers and internal teams.
    • Assortment Management: Ensure compliance standards, pricing accuracy, and product assortment both in store and online.
    • Customer Experience: Drive profitable growth while providing excellent customer experience.
    • Attain Service Levels: Work with cross-functional team to meet or exceed customer prescribed service levels.
    • Manage support team to execute and manage customer deliverables.
    • Development and delivery of necessary reports and weekly delivery with insights.
    • Analyzing data and insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
    • Develop customer specific objectives in support of Camco’s strategic growth plan within current and adjacent departments.
    • Achieve new item objectives, assortment, pricing, promotional plans and merchandising objectives set forth for specific customer objectives.
    • Achieve annual and key event merchandising objectives.
    • Execute assortment and shelving initiatives/customer category reviews to improve shelf presence.
    • Drive market share in select categories and sub-categories in store and online in alignment with Camco corporate objectives.
    • Shopper Marketing and eCommerce support program coordination with internal brand and marketing teams to create a best-in-class consumer experience.
    • Effectively engage and leverage cross functional resources (Marketing, Engineering eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Others) to exceed/achieve business objectives, drive volume, share, and profit growth.
    • Leverage cross-functional resources to translate, integrate and activate Camco Consumer strategies into key customer-level business plans.
    • Coordinate and lead sales/review/innovation presentations at customers leveraging cross-functional support to enable team selling approach.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional support to deliver best in class presentation materials and insights for business meetings.
    • Establishing a strategic vision & perspective.
    • Effectively communicate while managing ambiguity & complexity in the marketplace.
    • Developing strategically aligned partnerships.
    • Demonstrate decision making agility.
    • Provide thought leadership through creative and innovative customer approaches and utilizing business & financial acumen to deliver assigned revenue & profit goals within assigned spend.
    • Other duties assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • Experience: Previous experience in durable or consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales, especially with Walmart.
    •  Communication Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities. 
    • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
    • Strategic Mindset: Understand market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
