Being a Certified Nurse Anesthetist performs pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and documents anesthesia notes on patient records. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Certified Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager. Certified Nurse Anesthetist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. This location offers a variety of comprehensive services including cardiovascular services, cancer care, general surgery, behavioral health, women’s and children's services, imaging and laboratory services, rehabilitative services, and much more.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will work in both inpatient and ambulatory settings with flexible Monday-Friday hours. The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist will provide a full spectrum of anesthesia services as approved by the anesthesiologist and surgeon, consult with the surgical teams, act as a patient advocate during procedures, and closely monitor patients during all surgical stages.
Requirements Include- Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia required
- License to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist CRNA
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
