Common Plea Catering, a high-end catering company located directly in the city of Pittsburgh, is seeking a professional, and dependable Beverage Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervisor/Manage Bar Staff with operations pertaining to an assigned event.
• Order all liquor and mixers required to stock event bars.
• Pull all liquor, wine, beer, mixers, as well as bar equipment needed to stock all bars for an event.
• At end of events, assist bartenders with tear down of each bar and restocking remaining product.
• Maintain appropriate inventory to supply all events.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere with friendly and courteous service.
• Motivate fellow employees to provide an excellent customer experience.
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH for seamless service from start to finish.
• Uphold all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Correspond and effectively communicate with all members of the Event Team about future events in planning.

Physical and Work Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Able to work with varying noise levels and environments.
• Perform under pressure in a fast-paced system.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible shifts due to event scheduling.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• RAMP certified is a plus
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills
• Reliable transportation
• Basic Math Skills
• High School Graduate or GED equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
