DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Human Resources Vice President, the H.R. Admin Assistant dutiesfor this position include screening calls and direct all incoming phone calls, greet employees and vendors as they enter the HR office. Develop communication pieces to department managers. Planning and coordinating employee events monthly, quarterly, and annually. provides administrative support for VP of HR. Assists with resolving employee and guest issues by acting as liaison, assists the HR department with all day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to benefits, recruiting, onboarding and development. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Helps new employees with new hire packets (I9, W4, Confidentiality Agreement, ID Verifications, Uniform Agreement, 1095C Electronic Consent Form, W4 Electronic Consent Form, Parking Agreement, Benefits Form, ID Card Agreement, Signature Form)
· Perform Drug Tests for incoming employees and correspond with Clinical Reference Laboratory.
· Access cards for employees Activates Kronos Cards, and employee IDs.
· Verify employment for various companies and tribal programs (477, WIOA, NAVR and IDEAL works, etc.)
· Distributing uniforms to employees.
· Track Court Fines, communication with Tribal and County Courts.
· Employment application tracking.
· Assists with scheduling interviews and closing out job postings.
· Payroll Change Notice (PCN) tracking and verification.
· Assists in maintaining HR files.
· Planning employee events (Employee of the month, Employee Picnic, Employee Awards Banquet, etc)
