Casino Pit Manager manages and directs the daily activities for an assigned area of the casino. Surveys the casino floor and looks for players that are cheating and removes suspected card counters. Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, laundry and other animal living areas
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the veterinarian or supervisor
- Exercise and socialize animals to ensure their physical and mental well-being
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any observed changes in behavior or health
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals is required
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and gently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting with pet owners
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting (50lbs )
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Note: This position may require standing for long periods of time and working in various weather conditions. The ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively is essential.
