Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Vintage Camera Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in repairing and restoring vintage cameras, with a deep understanding of analog photography equipment. Knowledge of digital camera repair is considered a valuable asset but not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair various models of vintage cameras, including SLRs, rangefinders, and medium format cameras.

- Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.

- Clean, lubricate, and adjust camera mechanisms to ensure optimal performance.

- Replace damaged or worn-out parts with precision and care, preserving the integrity of each camera's design.

- Test repaired cameras to verify functionality and make any necessary adjustments.

- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and customer communication.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a camera repair technician, with a focus on vintage camera models.

- In-depth knowledge of analog photography principles and vintage camera mechanisms.

- Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for camera repair.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.

- Digital camera repair knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
