Job Description:
Provides quick, courteous, and accurate cashiering service to customers. Adheres to all company service and operating standards. Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Cage Cashier Responsibilities

Maintains and reconciles a cash drawer, secures cash, coupons, forms, and other related inventory associated with cashiering duties.

Exchanges cash or coupons for customers in adherence to established procedures.

Cashes checks for customers in accordance with established procedures.

Prepares, issues, and receives banks from employees of other departments.

Assists slot operations in preparing jackpot payouts for customers.

Evaluates the quality of service provided by cashiering personnel relative to company service and operating standards, and provides immediate positive and constructive feedback to cashiering employees.

Handles customer complaints and solicits the support of a supervisor as needed.

When functioning as the Front Window Cashier, Main Bank Cashier or Chip Bank Cashier, follows the respective duties and responsibilities of the position that he or she is currently fulfilling as delineated, listed and outlined in Internal Control Section 465a. 16.

Performs all other duties as assigned, including, when necessary, the role of Pit Clerk.
Cage Supervisor Responsibilities

Motivates cashiering workforce to quickly, courteously, and accurately service customers with their cashiering needs. Ensures that all company service and operating standards are consistently met. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations.

Monitors the quality of service provided by cashiering personnel relative to the company service and operating standards.

Oversees the daily operation of the cashiering function.

Monitors issuance of slot jackpots. Reviews and investigates overages and shortages.

Assists in preparing reports and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Manages all area of responsibility effectively within budgetary guidelines by monitoring and controlling operational and payroll costs.

Trains Cashiers and evaluates performance of all direct reports, and documents both positive and constructive feedback relative to company service and operating standards.

Regularly analyze departmental Job Descriptions for relevance and effectiveness.

Acts as a point of contact with Table Games, Player Services, and Slots and Cashiering Operations.

Experience and Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required. At least 3 years of prior experience in a supervisory role or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of standard cage and internal control procedures preferred. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must have strong math and money handling skills.

Must be able to lift, bend, kneel, stand, walk, and carry weight for a full eight (8) hour shift.
- Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
